5.2.5. Electronic control unit

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The electronic control unit is located on the right wall under an instrument guard.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Remove the side panel of finishing.
4. If it is necessary, turn off two screws and remove a connection socket arm from a wall.
5. On the Simtec models remove the relay of the fuel pump.
6. Turn off fixing screws or release clips and remove an arm of an electronic control unit.
7. Remove an electronic control unit from an arm.
8. On the models C 16 NZ and C 18 NZ program module it is possible to remove from a payment (a photo on the right). For this purpose it is necessary to turn off two fixing screws and to uncover (a photo at the left).

Installation

EXCEPT MULTEC-S

Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

MULTEC-S

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation of a new electronic control unit on it it is necessary to rearrange the program module and the detonation module.
2. Further installation is carried out upside-down removals.
