4.1.9. Cooling fan

1. Current on the fan of cooling arrives via the ignition lock, a safety lock 11 and the temperature switch installed on the right side in the lower part of a radiator (it is specified by an arrow).

2. If the fan does not work, check the temperature switch. Close contacts on the socket of connection of the switch and include ignition. If the switch started working probably the switch is faulty, and it needs to be replaced.
3. Check supply voltage on the fan.
4. If the switch, connecting wires and a safety lock as it should be probably the fan is faulty, and it needs to be replaced.

Removal and installation

1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Disconnect wires from the cooling fan.
3. Turn off two fixing bolts of a casing of the fan (it is specified a photo at the left) and remove it from a radiator (a photo on the right).
4. Turn off three fixing nuts and remove the fan from a casing. If the fan is faulty, replace it.
5. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
6. Check that the left lower side of a casing of the fan was established correctly in a clip on a radiator
