4.1.4. Gulf of cooling liquid

1. Check that all hoses were connected and collars were reliably tightened.
2. On the 1,4 and 1,6 l engines disconnect sockets of connection and unscrew the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid from an inlet collector (a photo at the left). On models X 16 XEL, C 18 XE, C 18 XEL and C 20 XE turn off a bolt with a head under face a key on a thermostat cover (the drawing on the right).
3. Remove a cap of a broad tank and slowly fill in cooling liquid.
4. Install into place the temperature sensor when cooling liquid without vials of air begins to follow from an opening on an inlet collector (or a thermostat casing). If it is necessary, twirl a bolt with a head under face a key, having applied sealant on its carving (for example, Opel P/N 90094714).
5. Add cooling liquid to the mark "COLD" in a broad tank and establish a cap.
6. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature. Then kill the engine and wait until it cools down.
7. Examine cooling systems on existence of leaks.
