The procedure of installation of the diesel engine is generally identical to the procedure of installation of the petrol engine.

1. To lower the engine and to connect to a coupling case.
2. Uncover a coupling case.
3. Install the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT. For this purpose to turn a bent shaft in the direction of rotation until tags on a flywheel and on TNVD coincide.
4. Uncover the camshaft case.
5. Remove the vacuum pump (it is installed on a camshaft case flange).
6. Turn off bolts of fastening of the camshaft.
7. Turn off bolts of fastening of the pump of the cooling system, to displace the pump Opel KM-509 adaptation (47,7 mm) and to weaken thus a gear belt.
8. Disconnect an engine support ahead on the right.
9. To wring out the engine from a support. Take off a gear belt from pulleys.

1. Check pulleys for absence of damage, if necessary to replace.
2. Check coincidence of tags of VMT.
3. Establish a new gear belt.
4. Fix an engine support on a longitudinal beam by the moment of 40 Nanometers.
5. Pull a gear belt.
6. Tighten bolts of fastening of the pump of the cooling system the moment of 25 Nanometers.
7. Screw a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the camshaft, without tightening it.
8. Check installation of ignition (compliance of tags).
9. Tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the camshaft the moment of 75 Nanometers, and then to hold on on a corner 60–65 °.
10. Establish new laying under a cover of a conical emphasis of the camshaft and to tighten bolts of fastening of a cover cross-wise.
11. Fix the lower and top covers of a gear belt.
