3.1.19. Oil pump

1. Remove a back cover of a gas-distributing belt.
2. Remove the oil pallet.
3. In models C 18 NZ, C 20 NE unscrew an oil filter.
4. Disconnect a wire from the oil pressure switch.
5. Unscrew fixing bolts and get the oil pump.

1. Carefully clean the joined surfaces of the oil pump and the block of cylinders, establish new laying.
2. Not to damage an epiploon of a bent shaft in installation time of the pump wrap up the end of a shaft a thin tape.
3. Establish a new epiploon, oil it and install the oil pump into place. The planes of a bent shaft are joined to an internal gear wheel of the pump (2) (1 – a tape).
4. Tighten fixing bolts.
5. Establish the remained details.

1. Remove the oil pump.
2. Unscrew screws and remove a back cover of the pump.
3. Unscrew a cover of the reducing valve, remove a sealing ring (3), take a spring (2) and a plunger (1) (4 – a stopper).
4. Take a forward epiploon of a bent shaft.

1. Measure a gap between teeth of an internal and external gear wheel by means of the probe.
2. Measure a gap between edges of gear wheels and the plane of a pump housing.
3. If the received sizes do not conform to requirements, make necessary replacements.
4. Examine a spring and a plunger of the reducing valve, replace them if necessary.

1. Clean a pump housing.
2. Replace a sealing ring of the reducing valve and oil a spring and a plunger.
3. Check that gear wheels were pure, oil them and install in the pump (the arrow specified a tag on outer side of a gear wheel).
4. Grease the joined surfaces of the pump with sealant, put on a back cover and tighten screws.
5. Establish a new epiploon of a bent shaft.
